PRP
What is PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment is a type of regenerative medicine that uses a patient’s own blood to help stimulate hair growth, heal injuries and other medical conditions. PRP is made by drawing a small amount of blood from the client’s arm and then separating the platelets from the rest of the blood using a centrifuge machine. The platelets are then concentrated and injected back to the client at the site of the concerned area depending on the condition.
PRP contains growth factors, which are proteins that help to promote healing. When the platelets are injected back into the patient, they release these growth factors, which help to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. The technique can address male pattern baldness, stimulate the growth of hair transplants, and enhance other cosmetic procedures. This can lead to faster healing times and improved outcomes for a variety of medical conditions.
PRP treatment is a safe and effective procedure that has been used to treat a wide range of conditions, including:
- Promotes hair growth
